An Evening with Dave Moore: ELLI Benefit Concert

Come support the UUS’ new microlending project (ELLI) which helps under-resourced people in the community start their own businesses, and also provides emergency loans for those facing unexpected financial hardships.

An Evening with Dave Moore: 7pm to 9 p.m on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Unitarian Universalist Society, 2355 Oakdale Rd.

Enjoy desserts, drinks and music by Iowa music legend Dave Moore. Door opens at 7. Remarks at 7:30 Music starts at 8.

Come learn more about microlending, and how it can help create economic democracy and support equity and fairness in our community. Tracy Jon Sergeant of the Iowa Multicultural Development Center will speak about the impact of this microloan program. It is intimately related to many of our UU Principles.
