Social Justice Day of Service (offsite)

Join the November 1st Day of Service and be a part of an amazing action! In two hours of volunteering (from noon-2:00pm), you can play a role in providing a positive future for many families!
Houses into Homes is partnering with the Immigrant Welcome Network to completely furnish a recently purchased duplex. The furnished homes will serve as a transitional living space for up to 6 immigrant families at a time, when they first arrive to our community and while they are securing longer term housing.
Houses into Homes has another volunteer group who will load their trucks and unload at the welcome home. UUS is needed to unpack kitchen items, and make beds, set out decor and arrange furniture so that the homes are ready for an open house and then to welcome scores of new additions to our community in a well-designed living space.
