Chamber Music Concert

Formed in 2024, Seamark Quartet consists of violinists Renee Santos and Alicia Maiz Alonso, violist Oliver Bostian, and cellist Katie Forbush. An ensemble of the University of Iowa’s Chamber Music Residency Program, the Seamark Quartet is coached by Professor Elizabeth Oakes. Through the Chamber Music Residency Program, Seamark has had the opportunity to work with members of the Airel, Attaca, Shumann, Telegraph, and JACK Quartets, as well as composers Jessie Montgomery, Caroline Shaw, and Gabriel Kahane. In the summer of 2025, Seamark participated in the Summer Chamber Music Tour in collaboration with Arts Share, offering performances across Eastern Iowa. In 2026, Seamark will travel to Prague as part of the collaboration between the Chamber Music Residency Program and the Lobkowicz Collection.
