From Your Membership Coordinator

After a busy end of our church year, we are planning for the start of the upcoming year. In June we offered 4 weeks of Starting Point classes on Zoom, and I was so pleased to have the attendance we had. We were able to share our histories, UU values, principles, and history, and learn about many of the ways for engagement here in our UUS.

Starting Point Classes in September

We will be offering the 4 week Starting Point classes again in September on Wednesday evenings starting on the 10th on Zoom. This class is open to people new to us and members who have an interest.

Deep Dive with the Minister

Deep Dive with the minister is being offered on August 17th after the service for newcomers and members who wish to learn more and discuss Unitarian Universalism with Reverend Diana.

September Opportunities Fair

Our annual Opportunities Fair is coming up on the first Sunday in September. On the 7th, after the service, all will be able to explore many of the groups and activities offered at UUS, including updating your personal information and a photo for our Directory update!

Come and find out what calls you to be more involved here at UUS. Social justice and action, volunteering, spiritual growth and education will all be represented. For now, enjoy the rest of summer!
