Winter Solstice Celebration

At the darkest time of the year, we gather to celebrate the rebirth of the Sun! Join the UUS Pagans for a ritual passing through the dark into celebration of the growing light.

This event is open to the public and all are welcome. There will be a brief period of darkness during the ritual, followed by candle lighting. Children able to sit quietly for about an hour are welcome to join the ritual, and child care will be available during ritual for those who need it. All are welcome at the post-ritual celebration. If you have a favorite winter holiday treat you’d like to share at the celebration, please bring an ingredient list with it!
