DESCRIPTION:The members of UUS will gather in person and virtually after the service on Sunday\, December 17th\, for our Winter Congregational meeting. Planned agenda items include voting on the 2024 budget and on electing some interim leadership positions. \nThe congregational meeting will take place in the UUS Sanctuary at 11:15 am. Voting members can participate virtually via Zoom\, and the meeting will be streamed on YouTube for friends and visitors. A meeting packet will be sent 10 to 14 days beforehand to all voting members\, and will include an agenda\, the Zoom meeting invitation\, information on the voting process\, minutes from the December 2022 Congregational meeting\, the elements of the Election Buddy ballot\, the proposed 2024 budget\, and bios for the nominees up for election. Voting will take place after the congregational meeting online through Election Buddy. For both online and absentee paper ballot voters\, voting will remain open for five days until 5 pm\, Friday. May 26th. Two to three drop-in sessions will be held during voting week for those who would like assistance voting on Election buddy. The results of the election will be announced on Sunday\, December 24th. \nFor the following items\, please contact Christine Etler\, the Board secretary\, at piontkofsky@gmail.com or 319-541-4960. \n·       if you would like to receive a paper ballot or if you need to update your contact information. \n·       if you would like to volunteer to help with the election.
