Unitarian Universalist Society presents:

UUS Summer Camp

We are so excited to offer our first ever summer camp program at our Coralville campus!

This summer, join us at Unitarian Universalist Society for a fun-filled summer full of outdoor play with a series of one week nature camps for ages K-8th grade. To cap it all off, we will have a 2-week musical theatre camp for ages K-12th grade to perform Seussical The Musical.

UUS Nature Camps

10-3 M-F the week of camp with optional wraparound care available from 8:30-4

Sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 weeks

Campers will be mostly outside on our congregation campus as much as possible learning about the world around us and how we can honor the earth and the interconnected web of life. While this focus on honoring the earth is part of the Unitarian Universalist shared mission and principles, our camp is not religious and we are open to everyone.

In addition to the special weekly theme, each Nature Camp will prioritize being outdoors and engaging with the natural life abundant on our grounds.

All camps will be from 10 am until 3 pm (wraparound care allowing for an 8:30 am dropoff and 4 pm pickup is available for an additional fee).

Age of campers are Kindergarten-8th grade.

The Nature Camps cost $200 per week per child (wraparound care available for $75 per week per child).

A $40 deposit is required for each registrant. UUS Members and Contributing Friends receive a discount of $25 per child per camp as a benefit of membership.

Campers will need to bring a packed lunch and snack each day (fridge space available). The Nature Weeks will be mostly spent outdoors, so children and youth need to be dressed to get dirty. The camps will be structured to encourage children to play and learn regardless of age or grade.

To register, follow the registration link below. Enter the name of your child(ren) and go to the next page to select your preferred week(s). Choose BOTH which weeks of camp you would like and the number of weeks of camp (EX. Plant Week and Musical Theatre and 2 Camps).  If you have a Realm account, you will have the opportunity to add registration information for multiple children on this form. You can sign up for a single week or multiple weeks.  If you do not have a Realm account, you will need to compete a separate registration form for each child. If you have any trouble with the registration process, please email our Nic, Director of Lifespan Religious Education and Camp Director at education@uusic.org.
