Guest speaker Pamela Ayo Yetunde will talk about the Parable of the Good Samaritan: how there have been distortions in recent practice in the interest of protecting religious freedom, with a call to action to strengthen Good Samaritan laws.
Pamela Ayo Yetunde, JD, Th.D, is an experienced pastoral counselor and professor in pastoral care and counseling. She has written several books and articles related to Buddhism, womanist theology, and psychotherapy. An experienced public speaker and researcher, she holds a post-doctoral fellowship from Harvard Divinity School. Ayo is the co-founder of Center of the Heart and the founder of Audre: Spiritual Care for Women with Cancer. She lives in Chicago.
