Not Creed But Covenant: UU Identity

This summer’s theme of Identity has given an opportunity to look at the many identities people have as individuals, exploring the question, Who am I? For the remainder of the summer, Rev. Diane’s sermons will be considering the questions: Who are we?  What does it mean to identify as Unitarian Universalists?  Ours is a non-creedal tradition, that is, no one need give assent to a proscribed set of beliefs to find membership with us. It is our covenant, our promise to journey together in the spirit of service and love that binds us in community. We’ll look at the historic roots of our covenantal tradition and how it shapes our identity today.
