Scrapping ‘Normal’

Kari Fordice, a 30-year-old woman who has Down Syndrome, and her mother, Deb Fordice, will use speaking, visuals, and music to explore the role of normalcy in the shaping of individual and communal identities. Unbounded by normalizing forces, we may more deeply see “the inherent worth and dignity of every person” and organically build more “compassion in human relations.”
