Read “Justice on Earth” for Apr. 28 discussion

The Racial Justice Study/Action Circle and Green Sanctuary Committee are co-sponsoring the UUA Common Read this spring. The book is “Justice on Earth: People of Faith Working at the Intersections of Race, Class, and the Environment.”

At a time when racial justice, environmental justice, and economic justice are seen as issues competing for time, attention, and resources, “Justice on Earth” explores ways in which the three are intertwined. This anthology provides perspectives from 14 key thinkers and activists in Unitarian Universalism today. We have 15 copies available for borrowing, or you can purchase your own from the UUA Bookstore.

We are planning to have a discussion session on Sunday, April 28 after the service. Over the next several Sundays we will have copies available for you to “check out” at a table during the coffee hour. For more information or questions, contact Dave Martin at dndmartin1@mchsi.com
