In his 10 hour/week role as Publicity Coordinator, Jeff chairs the Publicity Committee, which oversees all public-facing UUS communications, including website, social media, advertising, and media relations. He assists UUS groups and committees in promoting their events and activities by coordinating publicity plans, creating print and digital advertising, and developing written and visual stories for a range of audiences.
Jeff joined the UUS staff in 2018 and has been a member since 2001. Previously he served as Director of Web Content at Cornell College for nine years. He began his career as a software engineer, then for ten years he balanced at-home parenting with a masters in spiritual studies, organic vegetable farming, freelance writing, and volunteer leadership positions.
He enjoys managing a small acreage, renovating a turn-of-the-century farmhouse, cooking, running, outdoor recreation, and finding creative ways to stay connected to his college-age son.
