Nik joined the UUS staff in 2018. In his 10 hour/week appointment, he works as the assistant to the administrator. Initially, he helped with general filing and record keeping work, but more recently took over more permanent assignments, such as keeping the monitor announcements in the lobby current, creating and printing Sunday orders of service, and assisting members with Realm issues.
Nik grew up in Switzerland, where he earned a degree in piano pedagogy and became a licensed piano teacher. He currently teaches piano in Coralville, where he has a studio of about 40 students.
In his spare time, Nik enjoys his family and cooking. He also is a member of The Mankind Project, a world-wide non-profit educational organization for men.
