UUS is hosting a virtual screening of the documentary film "The Race to Save the World," which profiles UUS member Miriam Kashia and other climate activists. The film will be available for viewing online any time April 22-29. Tickets are $10, with 40% of the proceeds going to UUS. A free discussion of the film will be held online on Sunday, May 2 at 7 p.m.

All of the Earth Week activities are available with additional guidance. In addition, there will be interactive stations to celebrate May Day and Beltane, build a bird feeder, and take home a small airplane plant.

Rev. Yadenee Hailu joins the UUS Green Sanctuary Committee for a special Earth Day service. Rev. Yadenee (she/her) is the community minister of blk earth, a Black-centered spiritual wellness project in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rev. Yadenee is an ordained UU minister who has served Hope Unitarian Church and All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa.
