Treats & Talents Auction: Mardi Gras at UUS!
March 9 - March 10
The Treats and Talents committee is excited to be planning our annual auction to benefit our operating budget and our social justice mission. Save the date: March 9th, 2019. Our theme this year is Mardi Gras.
Did you know that the official colors of Mardi Gras are Green, Purple and Gold? Those colors were chosen to represent Faith (green), Justice (purple) and Power (gold). That fits so well with our auction, which is a major source of revenue for our social justice work as well as for our general budget.
This year we will have an afternoon full of events for children followed by a New Orleans dinner with vegan and gluten-free options, silent and live auctions, music, and adult events in the evening. There will be childcare and children will eat with us before going off for their own activities. Tickets for the dinner & live auction are $20 (children under 12 eat free) and can be purchased online or during social hour on Sundays. There is no charge to participate in the afternoon family activities and all are welcome!
As always, we will also have a silent auction beginning a few weeks earlier (opens for online bidding on February 20th) The silent auction runs through the Auction weekend events and ends on Sunday, March 10th, after the social hour. The silent auction is open to all.
