Beyond Sunday services, you will find a variety classes, workshops and forums in which to deepen your spiritual journey, engage in social justice issues, and grow personally and in community.

The goal is to help congregation members recognize and move beyond any biases they may hold in their vision of an acceptable minister. This is the first session in a five-part workshop aimed at increasing insight into solutions to global warming and building skills to become effective advocates for change. Community Minister Lois Cole will guide participants in discovering how spontaneous writing can bring insight, creativity, and well-being. Join Virginia Melroy on Tuesdays, Oct 6 and Oct. 20, from 7 to 8 pm, for a virtual two-session class on walking the labyrinth. In the first session, she will give an introduction to labyrinths and their history, along with some guidance for walking the labyrinth as a spiritual practice. You will then be invited to walk the labyrinth at UUS yourself, on your own time, and share your reflections and ask more questions in the second session. Registration required.View event details »
