Intergenerational Service-Learning Trip to Sunny Mexico
June 14-20, 2009

In 2009, UUSIC's intergenerational service-learning trip found us in sunny Mexico for a week of fun, camaraderie, and service.

We traveled with the organization Los Niños, based in Chula Vista, CA.  For more than 30 years, Los Niños has been working in neighborhoods and communities in northern Mexico, creating models for community development that are paths to self-reliance. Los Niños is also experienced in taking high school and university groups to Mexico for service learning programs.
