Senior High Youth Receive Grant
Thanks in part to a $2,000 award from the UUA Lifespan Faith Development/Youth Project, several participants in the Senior High Youth Program at UUSIC participated in a service and learning trip to Guatemala, where they examined the root causes of poverty and its connection to immigration to the US. Through this grant, UUSIC youth had an opportunity to grow in faith, deepen in spirit, develop skills, and provide leadership and service.

We traveled with a program called Los Niños Via International, which partners with SHARE Guatemala, an integrated rural development organization within more than 250 communities in Guatemala.
