Welcome Home Wednesdays
February 3 - March 10, 2010

For two, six-week sessions each year, in the early spring and in the fall, Welcome Home Wednesdays at UUSIC are a time to create community and nurture spiritual and intellectual growth. Watch for information about the Fall 2010 session in September.

Here is what a typical Welcome Home Wednesday evening looks like:

• Supper is served from 5:45 to 6:30 with a simple savory catered meal. The cost is $6.00 per adult, $4.00 per child age 10 and younger; please RSVP by the Monday before the meal by email or phone (319-337-3443).

• Child care is available for children age four and younger from 6:30 - 8:30.

• Midweek worship for all ages begins at 6:30 in the Fireside Room with a brief service of story and song.

• Adult education classes begin at 7:00 and run until 8:30.

• Creative activities for children also begin at 7:00 and run until 8:30 for youngsters whose parents are attending classes.

Registration forms can be downloaded, and then returned via email. Or print out the form, complete it, and either mail it to or drop it off at the UUSIC Office, 10 S. Gilbert, Iowa City, IA 52240.

Our next Welcome Home Wednesdays session will begin on February 3 and continue through March 10, 2010.
