Sharing Challenges and Successes

Join other Unitarians Universalists from the Hawkeye Cluster —Cedar Falls, Ames, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Davenport and from the fellowships of Clinton, Burlington, Dubuque, Mason City and Decorah — for this Time Well Spent Workshop -  Sharing Challenges and Successes, in Channing Hall from 10 AM  to 2 PM.

 

We look forward to this opportunity to share congregational strategies and challenges within the different committees and groups that include Green Sanctuary, Immigration, Membership, Buildings and Grounds, Finance and Stewardship, Youth Programming, Marriage Equality, Partner Churches, Worship, RE/Adult Programming, Board Leadership, Social Justice, Covenant groups, UniCare, and others.

 

Zach Wahls, UUSIC member, will share his experience of having the most popular YouTube political video in 2011. In 2010, Zach spoke to the Iowa Legislature in support of marriage equality.

 

This workshop is co-hosted by Peoples Church in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City and presented by the UUSIC Leadership Development Committee.
