  UUSIC SNOW POLICY


 

 

Iowa winter weather can be unpredictable, so we have developed a weather policy in the event it is dangerous to travel to Sunday services or other UUSIC events.


When nasty weather approaches, we will make a decision by 6 PM on Saturday about holding Sunday services.


If the weather is bad or threatening after 6 PM Saturday, please check these sources for information:

  • Your email, if you receive our weekly all-church emails

  • Our website home page

  • Cancellation announcements at WSUI (910 AM), KSUI (91.7 FM) or  KCRG TV (channel 9)

In this case, no news is good news -- if there is no announcement, we will see you on Sunday.

For other events, we will decide by noon on the day of the event, and publish the information via the sources listed above.
