Finding us
We are located two blocks east of downtown
Iowa City, at 10 S. Gilbert Street.

Parking
Free parking is available on Sundays in the
city lot, adjacent to the east side of our building,
and also in the parking ramp across Gilbert
Street to our west. There is also free on-street
parking on the north side of our building, and in
the non-reserved section of the University of Iowa
lot that is located diagonally across from us on the
intersection of Gilbert Street and Iowa Avenue.

We work hard to make our century-old building both accessible and
welcoming!

building, you will find reserved, accessible
parking places near our accessible entrance.

parking is also available on Sunday in the
parking ramp across the street from us; this
ramp is fully accessible.

Getting around
inside An elevator
goes from ground level to our upper floors. In Channing Hall,
where we gather for coffee and other social events, you will also find a chairlift.

Mobility, hearing, and vision
aids Our ushers are happy to provide assistance to all who
have mobility, hearing, or vision concerns. You would like an assistive listening device,
just tell an usher and they will get one for you.
